What Does "Small Batch Roasted" Mean?

At Self Rez Coffee Co., small batch roasting means we roast in carefully controlled 2.5-pound or 6-pound batches, depending on the coffee and order size. With two different roasters, this approach allows us to fine-tune every batch for maximum quality, consistency, and peak freshness.

Unlike mass-produced coffee that sits on shelves for months, our roasting process ensures your coffee is roasted to order and shipped at its freshest. Most orders ship the same day or within 3-5 days of roasting, so you always get coffee at its best—never stale, always vibrant and flavorful.

Do you offer whole bean?

We proudly offer whole bean options for nearly all of our coffees, ensuring you can enjoy the freshest grind and brew experience at home. The only exception is our innovative Amino Acid Infusion blends, which are crafted to deliver their unique benefits in a pre-ground format for optimal consistency and infusion.

Where do the beans come from?

Where do I find the roast date?

The roast date is printed on the bottom of the bag. At Self Rez Coffee Co., we roast to order in small batches, ensuring you get the freshest coffee possible.

Most orders are shipped the same day or within 3-5 days of roasting, so your coffee arrives at peak freshness. Some coffees, especially naturally processed or dark roasts, may need a little time to off-gas before reaching their best flavor. If you notice extra bloom when brewing, that’s just fresh CO₂ escaping—signs of a super fresh roast!

How long does it take to get my order?

Our coffee is roasted to order to ensure you receive the freshest possible product. To maintain this level of quality, we ask for 1-5 business days to complete the roasting process. Orders placed before 1 PM EST are typically roasted and shipped the same day; otherwise, they will be processed on the next business day.

For U.S. orders, delivery usually takes 3-5 business days once shipped. For international orders, shipping times can vary depending on the destination. While most international shipments arrive within 7-14 days, some may take longer based on local postal services and customs processing times. We appreciate your patience as we craft and deliver your perfect cup of coffee.
